Q1 Confidence in open looks
A couple things. You guys are only 6-3, 2-for-3, but you got a lot of good looks. You're confident those are going to fall. You recapping those looks?
Yeah, I mean, you know, I thought we generated the right kind of shots that were mostly inside-out, paint touch, step in, catch and shoot 3s. Um, of those shots, I think maybe I can remember like 2 that I would say are like what we would grade as C shots. Most of them were shots that we need to take And we're going to continue to take and give our guys confidence as they work on it to be able to make them.
Encouraged that we still were able to score 84 points and have 17 assists on a night where we didn't shoot the ball particularly well. Certainly something that we want to continue to make sure we remind our guys that it's— you're going to have nights like this and you got to find other ways to generate good offense, get to the free throw line, offensive glass and stuff like that. So we did those things fairly well.
Q2 Addressing offensive rebounds allowed
And then Moustapha obviously didn't play and it didn't help, but the 21 offensive rebounds for— I'm guessing Address that?
Yeah, yeah, certainly. Um, you know, not something that, that can continue. Um, and Moustapha will help, no question, but, you know, our guards have to rebound better. You know, Roddy had 1 defensive rebound.
That's not gonna be good enough. Um, Trey had 4. You know, we need him— we need both those guys in the 5-6 rebound range, particularly as you look ahead, right? UConn's always been one of the best rebounding teams, and, you know, that's what we got next.

Q12 Elliot Cadeau's defense and steals
Can you talk about what you thought of Elliot Cadeau on defense today? He had 4 steals. Talk about what your vantage point was on that.
He was sensational. That Elliot Cadeau is a guy who raises our ceiling because he can be really disruptive without fouling. You know, it's been an issue. We've talked to him about it.
We've watched the film, but we got to be careful how much energy he's exerting on the defensive end. Because we're going to ask him to be a shot generator as much as anybody on our team on offense. So his ability to continue to work on his conditioning so he can play a lot of minutes and stay out of foul trouble and play good defense all at the same time is going to be critical for us moving forward.
