Former Michigan guard Carlton Brundidge committed to the University of Detroit on Thursday evening.
Brundidge was one of three scholarship players to transfer from Michigan. Evan Smotrycz committed to Maryland while Colton Christian is off to Florida International.
TJ Kelley first reported the news while Brundidge confirmed his intentions on Twitter. Kelley reports that Brundidge chose Detroit primarily because of its proximity to home and his relationship with the players and coaches.
Brundidge says UD because close to home, Ray, jr, Juwan Howard, jr, Head coach Ray, sr, and assistant coach Carlos Briggs.

Brundidge was a consensus top-100 recruit coming out of Southfield High School but played in just 15 games and made only one field goal during his freshman season.
