We took some time to refresh the look (and content) of our recruiting boards, profiles and add a new feature over the weekend.
Recruiting Boards and Profiles
The recruiting boards for the class of 2014, class of 2015 and class of 2016 were all updated. The most notable changes were to the class of 2014 board where a number of combo forward targets were added. The 2016 board also continues to expand.
Player and Recruit Profiles
The player profiles were woefully out of date and hadn’t even been updated with last year’s freshmen. The roster has been updated and player profiles have been spruced up with news, video, photos, statistics and tweets.
Recruiting profiles now include 247Sports’ Crystal Ball predictions and consensus rankings along with the standard news updates, videos, school lists, and tweets that you found on the previous design.
Profile designs have been upgraded to include videos that we’ve posted on UM Hoops as well as the other videos from the internet. This should make the video feature more useful whether it’s to find highlights of Spike Albrecht against Louisville instead of just interviews or find scouting video of a prospect we haven’t covered in person.
Five Key Plays Archives
We also put together a Five Key Plays Archive where you can go back and watch all of the previous Five Key Plays videos from 2011, 2012 or 2013. The pages are sorted chronologically by default but there’s also a version of each page with the most popular videos first.
