Michigan will host Texas this season in the first game of a home-and-home series with the Longhorns.
The Wolverines will play a return game in Austin in the 2017-18 season. The news was first reported by CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.

Michigan faced Texas last season in the Bahamas as part of the Battle 4 Atlantis, a game the Wolverines won 78-72.
Michigan will also participate in the 2K Sports Classic, with an opening game against Marquette, and will play at UCLA, Cincinnati and host Virginia Tech during the non-conference slate. The Wolverines will also host Howard (Nov. 11th) and IUPUI (Nov. 13th) as non-bracketed games as part of the 2K Sports Classic.
