Michigan dismantled George Washington on Saturday afternoon, showing no signs of a hangover from its win at Villanova earlier in the week (or the casino action down the hall from the arena).
Charles Matthews (25 points on 13 shots), Jordan Poole (22 points on 12 shots) and Zavier Simpson (14 points, 11 rebound and 8 assists) had nearly flawless performances to help Michigan to an 84-61 victory that wasn’t even that close.
