Sorry, have been slacking a little with the recruiting updates. Here is a big load of updates. Also be sure to check out the Aaron Fuller article I posted in the OSU Post-Game post. One other thing to mention is that I am hearing another SG target that might be a possibility for 08. I’ll try to find out more and post the name soon.
Justin Watts
- Watts scores 21 including game winner in a win over Riverside. (Thanks for the heads up on these articles from our readers :-) )
- Watts scores 30 leading Jordan past East Chapel Hill.
“Justin [Watts] is a super young man with a great work ethic and great attitude,” Annas said of Watts. “He played very well tonight. I thought his defense was pretty tough on [Ty] Alston. I thought he did a good job working on offense down inside. He was able to post up, score and get fouled. He’s just a great guy to coach.”
Stuart Douglass
Carmel is up to 2nd in the AP state rankings and is focused on a MIC championship. Carmel also escaped against Zionsville after a lackluster performance after their big win over Lawrence North.
Ben Cronin
Cronin continues to put up monster numbers, this time with 36 points in a 69-55 win over an “undersized Binghampton”
An undersized Binghamton squad had little answer for 7-foot-1 Henninger center Ben Cronin in a 69-55 non-league basketball loss Tuesday night in Syracuse.
Cronin, who has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Michigan, closed with 36 points– 24 coming after the Patriots were within 26-22 at the midway point.
Ebuka Anyaorah
A good feature article here on Ebuka who at this point is seeming a lot like on of the home run candidates for 2008. It’s hard to get a read on Michigan’s chances in this one though.
