We’ve had a busy day on the blog over the last 24 or so hours with our new five plays feature, Big Ten power rankings, a few links, and an interview with Mitch McGary, but, Michigan does in fact have a game tonight. The Wolverines face the Concordia University Cardinals, who will make the short five mile trip over to Crisler Arena. The Cardinals, a member of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference in the NAIA, are 5-4 on the season (0-2 WHAC) and are coming off a 100-98 loss to University of Michigan Dearborn.

Previewing Concordia based on the four factors is probably a fruitless cause. Their 51% effective field goal percentage this season is pretty good but that obviously comes against significantly worse competition. Considering they scored 98 points in their last contest, you won’t be surprised that they average 76 possessions per contest. The Cardinals are led by Belleville guard Marius Williams, who averages 17 points per game while 6-foot-6 240 pound Rocko Holmes anchors the post with 14 points and eight rebounds per contest.

Instead of actually previewing the game in depth, we’ll just turn this post into an open thread for tonight’s game. This game won’t count against Michigan’s RPI, win or lose, but it technically will count toward its actual record. Michigan should obviously win this game relatively easily, I’ll be paying close attention to Tim Hardaway Jr., who will look to snap out of his shooting slump.
