Matt Vogrich

On rebounding and defending: “I try to focus on doing multiple things. I don’t want to be one dimensional and just be a shooter. When my shots not going, I want to do something to provide some extra things for the team.”

On what the team has learned in pre-conference play: “I think we’ve learned a lot about finishing games and playing the full 40-minutes. In the Big Ten we’re going to have to do that, playing against good teams every single game. We’re going to have to work on playing the full 40 minutes and closing out games and we’re a young team with a young backcourt but we’re looking forward to that.”

On the Player Development Center: “It’s awesome. We can come in and shoot whenever we want. Even two in the morning if we’re bored or first thing in the morning when we wake up to come and work out. It just helps to do develop our skills when we can do whatever we want within the facilities.”

Blake McLimans

On more playing time and where he’s focused improvement:: “Obviously as Big Ten play approaches and we’re getting into some tougher opponents, the strength and rebounding that I’ve focused on in the offeseason that I needed to improve on. Throughout these first couple games I feel that’s really improved.”

On being a perimeter threat: “I’ve always been known as an inside-out guy but I’m still working on developing my inside game so that I can open up my outside game. So far it’s been working. My shot has been good, my inside game and rebounding are improved so it’s going well”

Carlton Brundidge

On playing more minutes and adjusting to college game: “Oh yes I have. I’m adjusting really well. At first it took me a little time to get things and slow down for everything. Now I’m adjusting and things are slowed down. “

On playing with Trey Burke: “It was special, just because we’ve always been playing against each other in AAU and it’s special to play on the same team”

On experience in Michigan basketball: “It’s fun. Really fun. Coaches always bring me up and players are always telling me I’m doing a good job and to keep my head up”
