Michigan basketball season ticket sales hit 18 year high

Michigan basketball season tickets are going fast. The Wolverines have already sold the equivalent of 10,000 season tickets for the upcoming season:

In addition to tracking how many season ticket packages have been sold, the ticket office records the number of “full season equivalents” (FSE) that have been purchased. Recognizing that not everyone can attend 18 regular-season home games, the athletic department arranged a number of ticket packages each including four different games to attend. Every four ticket packages sold is equal to one FSE. With one week remaining before the regular season, the athletic department has already sold more than 10,000 season ticket packages when factoring in FSEs.

“The 10,000 number is a big number in the professional league, so in college it is a mammoth number,” Lochmann remarked. “The fact that we are selling 10,000 FSE out of a 12,693-seat arena is unbelievable.”
