Michigan offers James Blackmon Jr.

blackmonjr051811[1]Michigan extended a scholarship offer to class of 2014 guard James Blackmon Jr. this afternoon. Blackmon is a four-star prospect and ranked 35th nationally according to 247Sports’ consensus rankings.

The 6-foot-3 senior decommitted from Indiana in early August and has taken official visits to Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State and Indiana since the decommit. He visited Michigan on Saturday for the Wolverines’football home opener against Central Michigan.

Blackmon reports other offers from Indiana, NC State, Oklahoma State, Connecticut, Minnesota, Florida, Kentucky, Michigan State, Florida State, Purdue, UCLA, Memphis and Cincinnati.

Blackmon joins Devin Booker, Kameron Chatman, Trevon Bluiett as one of four 2014 prospects with a Michigan offer that the Wolverines are actively recruiting.
