Four-star guard Kenny Williams no longer considering Michigan

Four-star guard Kenny Williams was originally scheduled to take an official visit to Michigan on May 18th, but has trimmed his list to two schools: North Carolina and Virginia. Williams dropping Michigan means that five-star wing Jaylen Brown is Michigan’s lone remaining target in the class of 2015.

Four-star guard Kenny Williams was originally scheduled to take an official visit to Michigan on May 18th, but has trimmed his list to two schools: North Carolina and Virginia.

First reported by ESPN’s Jeff Borzello, Williams confirmed to UM Hoops by text that he’s no longer considering the Wolverines. Williams had also previously been considering Florida, but the Gators appear to have been eliminated with news that head coach Billy Donovan is taking the Oklahoma City Thunder job.

Michigan has been recruiting for one remaining scholarship in the class and now the only target left on the board is five-star wing Jaylen Brown. Brown is down to Michigan, Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina and California. Rumors have swirled in recent days that the Wolverines and Wildcats could be near the top for the 6-foot-6 blue chipper.

No decision date has been set, but Brown is one of the few unsigned top prospects remaining in the class of 2015.
