In the videos, Michigan coach John Beilein, junior forward Mark Donnal and junior guard Derrick Walton Jr. break down the matchup, and what it will take for the Wolverines to win their way into the NCAA Tournament.

At the end of the regular season, it appears that the Michigan basketball team is on the outside looking in of the NCAA Tournament. At 20-11 and 10-8 in conference play, most experts predict that the Wolverines will need to win two games in this week’s Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis to secure a bid in the postseason.

That journey begins Thursday against Northwestern. The Wildcats (8-10, 20-11) have reached the 20-win mark in the regular season for the first time in the program’s 115-year history, and enter Thursday’s matchup having won three straight games.
