Donnal also visited Vanderbilt and Creighton before choosing to play for Brad Brownell. The Tigers finished last season 17-16 (6-12 ACC) before losing to Oakland in the NIT.
“I’m definitely looking for somewhere I can play significant minutes right away and possibly start,” Donnal said at the Wolverine banquet earlier this month.
Donnal averaged 5.1 points and 2.6 rebounds per game over the 101 games that he played at Michigan. He’s the fourth graduate transfer that the Wolverines have lost in the last four years. This year the Wolverines are also adding a graduate transfer to the roster in Ohio point guard Jaaron Simmons.
