Michigan is a 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will play Montana in the first round in Wichita, KS.
If Michigan advances, it would play the winner of No. 6 Houston and No. 11 San Diego State. The Wolverines will be fighting to advanced to the West regional semifinals and finals which will be played in Los Angeles. The highest rated teams in the region are Xavier and North Carolina.

Beilein is 19-11 in NCAA Tournament games, taking Michigan to the National Championship game in 2013 and the Elite Eight in 2014. He is 13-7 in tournament play during his tenure at Michigan.
