The Wolverines are the No. 3 seed in the West regional and would face either No. 6 Houston or No. 11 San Diego State on Saturday if they advance to the round of 32.

No. 1 Xavier, No. 2 North Carolina, No. 3 Michigan and No. 4 Gonzaga are the top-seeded teams in the West.
