Wilson is a four-star prospect ranked 34th nationally according to 247 Sports composite rankings. He’s Michigan’s first commitment in the class of 2019 and the Wolverines are expected to focus on landing a guard commitment next.
Wilson is listed at 6-foot-8 and 210 pounds and plays his grassroots basketball for the Marcus Smart-sponsored Team YGC 36 on the adidas Gauntlet Gold circuit. He averaged 19.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game during the first two sessions of the spring evaluation period.

Wilson chose Michigan over a final list of six schools that also included Oklahoma State, Kansas, UCLA, Baylor and Marquette.
