Michigan will host North Carolina in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge, according to a report by Jon Rothstein of FRS Sports.

The Wolverines lost at North Carolina in last year’s Big Ten-ACC Challenge, but will get a home rematch in 2018-19.

Despite losing Joel Berry and Theo Pinson, North Carolina is still ranked No. 8 in the latest CBS Sports preseason top 25. The Tar Heels return Luke Maye, Cameron Johnson and Kenny Williams while introducing two five-star freshmen in Nassir Little and Coby White.

Other known Michigan non-conference games for next season can be found here and include a trip to Villanova for the Gavitt Games, the Hall of Fame Tip-Off and a home date against South Carolina.

Here’s the full listing of Big Ten-ACC Challenge matchups, according to Rothstein:

Don’t care that it’s a direct rematch, having a blue blood come and play on your home floor is always exciting and we owe them one from last year.

The preseason tourney is lackluster, so having Nova and UNC on the early schedule is great. I kinda wanted Virginia, but oh well.
