There will come a time when Michigan finds itself in a competitive game this season, but that wasn’t the case on Saturday.
The Wolverines led wire-to-wire in another comfortable victory over a top 25 team. The Michigan offense exploded in the first half, making 9-of-15 triples in the opening period, but it was the defense that locked the game down and kept any Purdue comeback effort at bay.
Jordan Poole led the way for the Wolverines with 21 points on 9 shot attempts, but Jon Teske was the MVP. The 7-footer finished with 17 points and eight rebounds in career night.
