Michigan hosts Western Michigan on Saturday (2:00 p.m., BTN, tickets) after a week long layoff.
The Broncos enter the matchup with a 5-4 record that includes wins over Detroit, Oakland, Southern and Youngstown State along with losses to Mississippi, Cincinnati, Nicholls State and USC Upstate.
This is Steve Hawkins’s 13th year in charge of Western Michigan’s basketball program and his last game against Michigan was a 73-41 loss on December 4th, 2012. Hawkins scheduled two games against John Beilein at Michigan and both times he’ll face a Wolverine team that is undefeated when the matchup rolls around in December.
