College coaches hit the road to watch grassroots basketball for the first time this offseason last weekend. While high school recruiting doesn’t carry quite the weight it did a few years ago, the first evaluation period still marks the official turning of the page from class of 2026 to class of 2027 recruiting.
All of the major grassroots circuits hosted events across the country over the weekend, and college coaches were on the ground checking out the next wave of talent.
