Four-star wing Jabri Abdur-Rahim was in line to receive a Michigan offer on an official visit to Ann Arbor until John Beilein’s departure. The visit was canceled because the Wolverines didn’t have a head coach but it didn’t take long for Juwan Howard to offer Abdur-Rahim a scholarship over the phone.
Abdur-Rahim spoke to reporters at NBPA Top 100 Camp about his connections to Howard’s staff and the latest updates in his recruitment.
What do you get out of this camp or try to get out of this camp?
Just to compete against the best players in the country. My main goal is to come out here and see where I’m at, see how much better I’ve gotten, see how much better I can get. Because these are the best of the best, and I wanted to just go out there and compete as hard as I can, and live with the results.
