Michigan extended a scholarship offer to four-star forward Lance Ware today.

The Wolverines watched him extensively throughout the Nike Peach Jam, where he averaged 14 points and six rebounds per game. Ware is a 6-foot-8 big man who is regarded as a power forward or undersized center. He does the majority of his scoring around the rim and impressed scouts with his high motor.

Ware is ranked 47th nationally per 247 Sports Composite. He holds offers from Louisville, Providence, Georgetown, Georgia Tech and others. He’s visited Michigan on multiple occasions including for the Wolverines’ elite camp last summer.
