Michigan announces Zeb Jackson signing

Michigan announced that four-star guard Zeb Jackson signed his letter of intent today.

Jackson is a four-star prospect in the 2020 class, ranked 62nd nationally per 247 Sports Composite. Jackson originally committed to John Beilein and honored his pledge to Michigan after Juwan Howard was hired.

“The commitment Zeb has shown to improve himself as a person, as well as a player, has been a joy to watch,” said Juwan Howard in a prepared statement. “He is a bright student with a tremendous passion for the game of basketball, and we welcome that here at the University of Michigan. He is skilled, athletic and has a very diverse game, allowing him to play multiple positions. Zeb Sr. and Shonda have raised a wonderful young man. We cannot wait for him to get to Ann Arbor.”

“I am so appreciative to Coach Howard and the rest of the staff for believing in me and giving me this opportunity,” said Jackson. “It’s amazing to see this dream come true, and it is exciting to say I’m officially part of the best university in the world with the best fans in the world! Go Blue!”

The Wolverines also have a commitment from five-star forward Isaiah Todd in the 2020 class and have four outstanding scholarship offers.

It would be nice to get Todd’s LOI during the early period also.
