Michigan heads to Illinois tonight in search of its first road win of the 2019-20 season (9:00 p.m., BTN). The Wolverines will face a wounded Illini team that allowed an 11-1 closing run in a demoralizing 59-58 defeat at Maryland over the weekend.
The Illini had plenty of preseason hype, but have largely failed to live up to expectations at 6-3 (0-1 B1G) with their best wins coming over Grand Canyon and Hawaii. Illinois enters tonight’s game ranked 43rd by Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and desperately in need of a win to reignite its season.
