Michigan and Rutgers will meet at Madison Square Garden on Saturday afternoon (4:30 p.m., BTN) for Big Ten Day.
The Wolverines are in the midst of trying to wrestle their season back on track while Rutgers is excited to see how fast this train can go. The Scarlet Knights are in the midst of their best season in decades and sit at 7-3 in the Big Ten, a game back from Michigan State in the loss column. Rutgers has won 10 of its last 12 games and is the No. 6 team in the country since December 9th, per Bart Torvik.
Michigan has won its last nine games at The Garden and has been dominant on neutral floors, 28-5, with Jon Teske and Zavier Simpson. A win over a hot Rutgers team could be exactly what the Wolverines need, but the status of their two best players — Simpson and Isaiah Livers — remains in the air.
