With four games left in the 2019-20 regular season, Michigan has yet to face two Big Ten foes. Tonight, Juwan Howard will get his first crack against the Wisconsin Badgers (7:00 p.m., ESPN2).
It took John Beilein ten games and six seasons to secure his first win against Wisconsin. While the Badgers under Greg Gard aren’t quite the same program that they were a decade ago under Bo Ryan, they still present similar challenges.
Michigan is playing as well as any team in the country right now, but it still faces an uphill climb to a top-four finish in the Big Ten. Solving Wisconsin’s deliberate perimeter-oriented offense would go along way toward keeping those hopes alive.
