Michigan is comfortably in the NCAA Tournament, most likely as a 6 or 7 seed, and will probably play in the Thursday afternoon 8/9 game at next week’s Big Ten Tournament.
The Wolverines don’t have that much to play for in the final game of the season, but they’ll be playing a team with everything to lose (Sunday, noon, FOX). Maryland needs one win to clinch a share of the Big Ten Championship, but it has needed that win for a week.
The Terps were on the verge of an outright Big Ten crown before going 1-3 over their last four games. Those losses have led to this point where a defeat on Sunday could mean a third-place finish.
