Michigan is in the mix for Wake Forest transfer Chaundee Brown.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound wing had previously cut his recruitment to Gonzaga, LSU, Illinois, Iowa State but confirmed to UM Hoops that he added the Wolverines to his list.
Brown was a top-40 recruit out of high school when he committed to Wake Forest. He was a three-year starter for the Deamon Deacons and averaged 12.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game last season.
He is a traditional transfer with one year of eligibility remaining. His eligibility in 2020-21 would depend on a waiver from the NCAA. Wake Forest head coach Danny Manning was fired this spring, but after Brown entered the transfer portal.
More on Brown’s recruitment, his game, contact with Michigan and extended highlights from last season after the jump.
