Five-star wing Caleb Houstan commits to Michigan

Five-star wing Caleb Houstan announced his commitment to Michigan today.

“I was down to four great schools but one definitely stood out to me the most – I decided to commit to Coach Juwan Howard and the University of Michigan,” Houstan told ESPN. “I was recruited by a lot of great schools and I appreciate all the time they all spent with me and my family.”

Houstan is Michigan’s fifth commitment in the class of 2021, joining Frankie Collins, Kobe Bufkin, Isaiah Barnes and Will Tschetter. Houstan is ranked 8th nationally and is the highest-rated prospect to commit to Michigan since Mitch McGary.

His pledge pushes Michigan’s class up to first nationally, for now, and best in the Big Ten. Here’s everything you need to know about the five-star wing including exclusive video, scouting reports, statistics and roster outlook.
