2020-21 Season

What we’ve learned about Michigan through five games

Michigan is 5-0 with an average margin of victory of 17 points through five games. The Wolverines are done with non-conference play and it’s hard to shake the feeling that we still don’t know how this team will fare in Big Ten play.

It’s tough to move expectations upward after games against Bowling Green, Oakland, Ball State, UCF and Toledo, but Michigan has done its job and looked the part of a top-25 team. Despite the lackluster competition, we’ve still learned plenty about a team with new pieces at multiple key positions.

Here are some early takeaways, statistics, charts, observations and tidbits about the Wolverines through five games and what that might mean heading into Big Ten play.
