Second Look: Making sense of a Michigan-Michigan State rematch

Michigan handled Michigan State on Thursday night in a second-half blowout that wasn’t as close as the final 69-50 score indicated. The Wolverines suffocated Michigan State’s offense and slowly pulled away despite playing a sloppy first half.

Rather than simply republishing our preview, which is still relevant 72 hours later, we’re going to highlight some themes from the first game that should apply to the rematch and hypothesize potential adjustments that both teams could make.
