First Look: Making sense of Michigan’s NCAA Tournament draw

Michigan earned its first 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament since Juwan Howard wore a Michigan uniform rather than a polo shirt. The Wolverines slipped a bit over the last two weeks of the season but still finished with their best postseason seed in over a quarter-century.

The Wolverines have to figure out how to play without Isaiah Livers, but they received a reasonable draw on Sunday night. Here are some thoughts on Michigan’s situation, early-round opponents and long-term draw now that we finally have a bracket after two long years.
