Recruiting Roundup: Official visit season begins

For the first time in over a year, high school prospects can visit college campuses today. The era of Zoom recruiting and evaluation via glitchy webstream is finally coming to an end as visit photo shoots return. Official visits are permitted throughout June and coaches will be back in the gym for grassroots tournaments during July.

While Zoom recruiting generally suited Michigan — the Wolverines signed their six-man No. 1 ranked recruiting class during the pandemic — a return to in-person recruiting should be a welcome sight for coaches at all levels, high school prospects, and their families. Michigan already has a long list of recruiting visitors set up for the next month and that list should continue to grow as additional dates are finalized.

To honor the return to in-person recruiting, here’s a full rundown of the summer calendar, the prospects who have scheduled official visits to Michigan, and where things stand in each recruitment.
