Michigan’s 2021-22 schedule is official with Wednesday’s Big Ten scheduling release. The Wolverines have a tough non-conference slate that isn’t quite as difficult as it appeared it might be after Kentucky and Oregon were dropped from the slate. In conference play, Michigan doesn’t dodge many punches. U-M has double plays against the three primary contenders (Illinois, Purdue and Ohio State) along with a protected pair of rivalry games with Michigan State.
The season is still over 60 days away, but that doesn’t mean we can’t walk through the schedule game-by-game to come up with a way-too-early (and incredibly hypothetical) prediction for how the season will play out.
