On Friday afternoon, Michigan opened the doors to the Crisler Center to host its 2021-22 Media Day. The event was a bit different this year, but it was the first chance for media to see the Wolverines in person in almost two years.
Juwan Howard and nine of his players held press conferences throughout the afternoon and media was allowed inside the building to watch the first 30 minutes of practice — which coincidentally only consisted of chest passes and cone jump shooting drills.
Despite the lack of valuable practice observation, there was still plenty to learn about the 2021-22 Wolverines. Here are five media day takeaways from the event.
