Michigan’s 2023 recruiting class has yet to gain a commitment and Juwan Howard and his staff have been quickly expanding the 2023 recruiting board.
2023 wing Andrej Stojakovic, who has earned the attention of Michigan with a scholarship offer in recent weeks, indicated that the Wolverines and Juwan Howard have increased talks with him in the past two weeks. And with Howard’s pedigree, Stojakovic likes the Michigan pitch.
“It’s a good mixture of basketball and academics,” Stojakovic told UM Hoops. “But the biggest thing is coach Juwan Howard, just being who he is and being a player’s coach and understanding what my goal is.”
Those goals — to develop his skills and reach the NBA — play a primary role in his recruiting checklist. Wherever he decides to commit, Stojakovic wants to come in and contribute right away. He wants to join a program in which he can get enough playing time for his development.
