Michigan wraps up non-conference play tonight (7 p.m., BTN-Plus) with a chance to knock off the holiday rust against Central Michigan (4-8). The Chippewas are the third MAC team that Michigan has faced in its early-season slate, and the Wolverines had closer-than-expected tests against both Ohio and Eastern Michigan back in November.
Second-year CMU head coach Tony Barbee is still getting the program back in gear and is projected to finish around the bottom of the league this year. The Chippewas have battled injury issues and have lost their last four games headed into tonight’s tilt.
