Michigan will face Toledo in the opening round of the NIT. The game tips at 7 p.m. and be televised on ESPN2.
The Wolverines are a 3 seed in the tournament, according to updated information, which means they will host Toledo in the opening round.
The winner of Michigan-Toledo will face the winner of Vanderbilt-Yale on March 18th or 19th. If Vanderbilt advances, Michigan will play on the road in the second round.
First, second, and third-round games are played at campus sites. The semifinals (March 28th) and finals (March 30th) will be played in Las Vegas at Orleans Arena.
Several notable schools opted not to participate in this year’s NIT, including North Carolina and Dayton.
