Michigan is one of six programs to conduct an in-home visit with Wofford transfer BJ Mack, as first reported by Jake Weingarten.
Mack, a 6-foot-8, 245-pound, big man, is a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.
Iowa, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Arkansas,, and Butler also conducted in-home visits. Mack plans to start taking campus visits in April after the Final Four dead period.
He began his career at South Florida and played three seasons at Wofford. Mack averaged 16.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game last year, shooting 34% from 3-point range.
The dead period for recruiting begins on Thursday, March 30 and lasts through noon ET on Thursday, April 6.
During the dead period, it is not permissible to make in-person recruiting contacts or evaluations on or off the member institution’s campus or to permit official or unofficial visits by prospective student-athletes to the institution’s campus.
