Alabama guard Nimari Burnett is headed to Michigan.

The former five-star recruit began his career at Texas Tech before leaving the program during his freshman year. He transferred to Alabama, where he missed his sophomore year due to injury. He played up-and-down minutes as a redshirt sophomore this season and averaged 5.6 points, 2 rebounds and .7 assist per game.

Burnett is expected to graduate this summer which would make him in line to be immediately eligible despite it being his second transfer.

A ton of talent, I recall his family and Juwan being SUPER tight. But he hasn’t…played well? That seems important.
