The transfer portal has taken college basketball by storm over the past six weeks, but college coaches were back on the road over the weekend evaluating high school prospects during the previous two weekends. Coaching staffs fanned out to major shoe circuit events hosted by Nike (EYBL), Adidas (3SSB) and Under Armour (UAA) to scout prospects in the classes of 2024, 2025 and beyond.
While it’s hard to put too much focus on future high school recruiting, given the roster makeovers that are happening via the portal across the sport, a couple of live periods serve as a nice reset for high school recruiting to set the stage for the offseason.
