Rooths is down to a list of three schools, Michigan, Georgia and Florida State. He visited all three programs, with his most recent trip coming to Michigan last weekend.
Rooths is a four-star prospect who is ranked 25th in the latest 274 Sports Composite rankings. He plays his prep basketball at IMG Academy but is originally from the DMV area.
Georgia was long considered a favorite in Rooths’ recruitment, but reports are that Michigan has made up significant ground. Notably, mysterious college basketball insider Trilly Donovan dropped a prediction for Michigan this afternoon on his website.

Seems like this one should be good news. From what I gather, Dug McDaniel deserves a ton of credit.
