Michigan looks to get back on track tonight as it hosts Indiana (9:00 p.m., Peacock) to open the Big Ten season. The Hoosiers are 6-1 but have had to battle through most of their non-conference schedule, including closer-than-expected wins over Florida Gulf Coast, Army, Wright State, and Louisville.
Entering his third year as head coach, Mike Woodson’s Hoosiers have got the best of the Wolverines thus far. Indiana has won three straight against the Wolverines, including a pair of wins last season that were decided by a total of three points and an overtime.
For Michigan, tonight is a welcome chance to play at home for only the fourth time this season, and the first time since November 17th. An opportunity to start the Big Ten slate with a victory and begin to right the ship after a tumultuous stretch.
