Game 28: Purdue at Michigan Recap

Despite playing with a shorthanded roster and the Crisler Center being filled by traveling Boilermaker fans, Michigan gave Purdue a game on Sunday afternoon. The Wolverines didn’t have enough in the tank to truly challenge the Boilermakers, but they hit enough shots to make things interesting at different moments throughout the second half.

In the end, Michigan didn’t have enough stops, rebounds, or fouls to slow down Zach Edey and Purdue.

Juwan Howard praised his team’s heart in his post-game presser, but boasting about heart after trailing for the final two-thirds of a home loss while giving up 18 offensive rebounds feels like more of an indictment.
