Khayat was a late addition to Michigan’s 2022 recruiting class when Juwan Howard and his staff recruited him out of the French leagues. The Lebanese wing was touted as a promising youngster but struggled to get on the floor during his two years in Ann Arbor.
Khayat played in 26 games total over two seasons, and saw 5.8 minutes per game as a sophomore. For his career, he was 11-of-35 from the field.
Khayat is the fourth Michigan player to hit the portal this offseason, joining Dug McDaniel, Tarris Reed Jr. and George Washington III.
Michigan’s roster is expected to make a total reboot after finishing 8-24 last season and firing Juwan Howard

What are our thoughts on the possibility of Khayat being a useful piece at some point?
