Dusty May’s first coaching hire is a big one. Former Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boynton is expected to join May’s staff in Ann Arbor.
Boynton’s seven-year head coaching tenure at Oklahoma State came to a disappointing end, but he’s universally respected as a recruiter, coach, and person. The 42-year-old Brooklyn native brings head coaching experience, high-major assistant coaching experience, and some of the best recruiting pedigree in the sport to bolster Dusty May’s bench.
