Four-star guard Justin Pippen will announce his college decision on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
He’ll make the announcement live with On3 247 Sports on their YouTube channel here.
Pippen is fresh off of an official visit to Ann Arbor last weekend. He’ll decide between Michigan, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Cal and Texas A&M. Pippen was an unranked recruit headed into this season before soaring onto the national radar. He’s reportedly grown three inches and has emerged as one of Sierra Canyon’s leading players. He’s ranked as high as 63rd by 247 Sports and is a composite top-100 prospect.
Michigan has picked up several recruiting predictions across the industry from national analysts to secure Pippen’s commitment.
Michigan currently has eight scholarships available as Dusty May looks to rebuild the roster in his first year. The Wolverines have one 2024 commitment from Durral Brooks, Michigan’s Mr. Basketball.

Is there an expectation he’ll be ready for rotation minutes next year?
umhoops
It’s hard to say with freshmen in this era. I’d pencil him in for potential off the bench guard minutes for now? But depends on the roster obviously.
