According to a report by Jon Rothstein, Michigan will face Arkansas in the 2024 Jimmy V Classic.
The event is a doubleheader held at Madison Square Garden on December 11th, per the official site, that will also feature Miami against Tennessee.
The matchup with Arkansas will pit John Calipari and Dusty May against each other in their first seasons at their new schools. Arkansas also landed a transfer commitment from former Florida Atlantic guard Johnell Davis, who spent his last four years playing for May and will face off against his former teammate, Vlad Goldin.
The Wolverines should have a strong non-conference schedule in Dusty May’s first season. They’ll also face Oklahoma in Charlotte in late December and participate in the Fort Myers Tip-Off along with South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Xavier (matchups to be announced).

How long do these things usually take to come together? Think this was done post-Cal and maybe even post-Johnell?
