Report: Michigan to host Iowa on December 7th

According to a report published early Monday afternoon by Jon Rothstein, Michigan will host Iowa in a Big Ten game on December 7th.

The full conference schedule is expected to be released in the coming weeks. The Wolverines are also expected to play a conference road game in December.

The Iowa game is on Saturday, December 7th, ahead of Michigan’s neutral-site game against Arkansas on Tuesday, December 10th.

Iowa missed the NCAA Tournament last year but returns the talented duo of Payton Sandfort and Owen Freeman. The Hawkeyes and Wolverines split a pair of games last season, with both programs winning on the road.

Iowa is currently ranked No. 46 in Bart Torvik’s 2024-25 season preseason projections.
