2024-25 Season

2024-25 schedule finalized after Big Ten reveal

The Big Ten announced the 2024-25 conference schedule today, which means that Michigan’s 2023-24 docket is officially set.

The Wolverines play two games in December, traveling to Wisconsin on December 3rd and hosting Iowa on December 7th. These two league games will come during a six-game stretch that features only high-major opponents.

Michigan re-opens conference play in 2025 with a West Coast trip to face USC on January 4th and UCLA on January 7th. This is the only time all season that Michigan plays back-to-back games on the road.

The non-conference slate is headlined by the Fort Myers Tip-Off, a home game with TCU, and neutral venue games against Wake Forest, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

Big Ten schedules feature just three double-plays with the expanded league schedule, and all three of Michigan’s “double-play” opponents are picked to make the NCAA Tournament in Michigan State, Purdue and Rutgers.

The Wolverines play only home games against Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Oregon, Penn State, and Washington. They’ll play road games at Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio State, UCLA, USC, and Wisconsin.

Michigan’s first game against Michigan State is scheduled for February 21st, and the rematch will wrap up the season in East Lansing on March 9th.

I turn 21 on Feb 21 and we play MSU at home and it’s a Friday… it’s gonna be the greatest day of my life or I will be in shambles

Strikes me as about as tough as it can get if your double-plays are MSU, Purdue, and Rutgers. The home/road splits on the single-plays seems pretty even.

Can’t wait for the boys to come to LA in January!
